Multi Post Social FAQ: Plans, Channels, Posting, Security and Billing
Updated · Multi Post Social guide

This Multi Post Social FAQ collects the questions people ask most, grouped by topic: plans and billing, channels and publishing, the inbox, analytics, the AI assistant, team and security, and your account and data. Each answer is short and points to the guide that covers the topic in depth. If your question is about something that is not working right now, start with the customer care guide, which has step-by-step fixes.
How to use the Multi Post Social FAQ
The Multi Post Social FAQ is organized the same way as the product. The first group answers money questions: what is free, what costs money, and how channels are counted. The next three groups follow the daily flow of a social media manager: connect channels and publish, answer the inbox, read the analytics. The AI assistant has its own group because its limits and data rules are asked about often. The last two groups cover people and settings: roles, approvals, security, sign-in and your data.
Every answer is written for the current version of Multi Post Social. When a behavior changes, the answer is updated and the change appears in the changelog. Where an answer depends on your plan, the limits table near the bottom of this page shows the exact numbers. If you cannot find your question, the contact page lists the support address and response targets.

Plans and billing
Is Multi Post Social free?
Yes, there is a Free plan with 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel, the calendar, the Start Page, inbox replies, 20 AI generations a month and 30 days of analytics. It has no time limit and needs no card.
How much does a paid plan cost?
Essentials and Team are priced per connected channel per month, with a lower rate from the eleventh channel. Agency is a flat monthly fee that includes 10 channels. Enterprise is quoted. The pricing page shows current prices and a full comparison table.
Do I pay for each user?
No. Team, Agency and Enterprise include unlimited users. You pay for channels, so adding a teammate never changes your bill.
Is there a free trial of paid plans?
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial and no card. If you do not add a card, the workspace returns to the Free plan and nothing is deleted.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing works out to about two months free. Yearly Agency and Enterprise plans can be paid by invoice and bank transfer.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Billing → Cancel plan. A monthly plan runs until the end of the paid month; a yearly plan can be refunded in full within 14 days of the first payment.
Plans and billing in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: Prices, trials, channels as the billing unit, invoices and cancellations.
Channels and publishing
Which networks can I connect?
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack Notes. Each channel page lists the formats and limits of that network.
Does Multi Post Social post automatically?
For most networks and formats, yes. A few formats a network keeps for its own app, such as some Instagram Story types and Facebook Group posts, are sent as a reminder to your phone with the content ready to paste.
Why does my Instagram or Facebook channel disconnect?
Meta tokens expire after about 60 days or when you change your password, enable 2FA on the network or remove the Page link. Reconnect from Channels; your queue is kept and resumes at once.
Can I write a different text for each network?
Yes. Pick the channels in the composer, write the base text, then open any channel tab to change the text, media, first comment or thread for that network only.
How many posts can I schedule?
10 per channel on Free; unlimited on paid plans. A published post frees its slot.
What is the difference between the queue and a scheduled time?
The queue uses the posting schedule slots you set per channel; a post takes the next free slot. A scheduled time pins a post to an exact date and time and does not use a slot.
Channels and publishing in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: Connecting networks, auto-publishing versus reminders, queue and schedule behavior.
Inbox and engagement
What arrives in the inbox?
Comments on your posts, direct messages, mentions and reviews from every connected channel that allows reading them through its official connection. Some networks limit which message types a tool can read.
Can I reply from the inbox?
Yes. Reply in place, use a saved reply or accept an AI suggestion. Replies are sent through the network and appear there as normal replies from your account.
Can I assign a comment to a teammate?
On Team and Agency plans, yes. Assign an item, add a label and a note, and see who is working on what. Routing rules can assign by channel or keyword.
How long is inbox history kept?
As long as the channel stays connected. Items marked done or archived stay searchable.
Can I turn a comment into a post?
Yes. The Turn into post action opens the composer with the comment quoted, so a good question or compliment can become content.
Inbox and engagement in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: What the inbox collects, replying, assigning and turning comments into posts.
Analytics and reports
What analytics are available?
Impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, clicks, engagement rate, follower change and best time to post, per channel and combined, plus top posts and tag performance.
How far back does analytics history go?
30 days on Free, unlimited on paid plans. Data is collected from the day a channel is connected; most networks do not provide history before that.
Can I export a report?
Essentials and above export PDF and CSV reports for any date range and set of channels. Team adds your logo; Agency adds full white-label reports and scheduled delivery to clients.
How is best time to post calculated?
From your own published posts: the hours and weekdays when your posts earned the most engagement relative to their reach, per channel. It needs about two weeks of posts to be useful.
Why do numbers differ slightly from the network app?
Networks update metrics for several days after a post, and some count impressions differently in their own apps. Multi Post Social refreshes metrics for 28 days after publishing.
Analytics and reports in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: Metrics, history, exports and how best time to post is calculated.

AI assistant
What can the AI assistant do?
Generate captions from a topic, rewrite in a tone, shorten or expand for a network, suggest hashtags, draft replies to comments and turn one idea into posts for several networks.
Does the AI post on its own?
No. Every suggestion is a draft you read and edit. Nothing is published or replied without your action.
How many generations do I get?
20 a month on Free; unlimited on paid plans. AI reply suggestions in the inbox are 5 a week on Free and unlimited on paid plans.
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Your posts, drafts and inbox are not used to train models. Prompts are processed to return a result and are not kept beyond what is needed to show it to you.
Can I give the AI my brand voice?
Yes. Settings → AI lets you save a short brand voice description and a few example posts that are added to every prompt in that workspace.
AI assistant in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: What the assistant does, limits by plan and how your content is handled.
Team and security
Which roles exist?
Owner, Admin, Editor, Contributor, Viewer and Client. Contributors need approval to publish; Clients can approve from a link without a full account.
How do approvals work?
When approvals are on, a contributor’s post waits in Needs approval. Approvers get a notification, can request changes with a note, or approve, after which the post takes its slot.
Can I keep clients separate?
Yes. Each workspace has its own channels, posts, inbox, analytics and members. Agency plans include unlimited workspaces.
Does Multi Post Social support two-factor authentication?
Yes, on every plan, with an authenticator app and backup codes. Admins on Team and above can require 2FA for every member.
Is there an audit log?
Yes. Settings → Security shows sign-ins, plan changes, channel connections and member changes. Enterprise plans can export the log and connect single sign-on.
Team and security in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: Roles, approvals, workspaces, two-factor authentication and the audit log.
Account and data
I cannot log in. What should I check?
Confirm the email you signed up with, use Forgot password to set a new one, check your authenticator clock if 2FA codes fail, and try a private browser window. The customer care guide lists more fixes.
Can I change my email address?
Yes, in Settings → Profile. You confirm the new address from a link sent to it, and sign-in moves to the new address.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Data → Export creates a file with your posts, ideas, inbox history, analytics and settings. Media is included as links.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Data → Delete account. Workspaces you own are deleted with their data within 30 days; workspaces owned by others stay with their owners.
Does Multi Post Social sell my data?
No. The privacy policy explains what is collected, why and for how long. Data is used to run the product and for nothing else.
Where is my data stored?
On cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. The security page explains storage, retention and how to request regional storage on Enterprise.
Account and data in the Multi Post Social FAQ covers: Sign-in trouble, changing details, exporting and deleting data.
Why these questions come up
Most questions in the Multi Post Social FAQ come from the same three moments. The first is the day you sign up: what is free, how many channels can I connect, will it post by itself. The second is the first time something breaks: a channel disconnects, a post fails, a code from the authenticator app is rejected. The third is the day a team grows: who can publish, who must approve, how clients are kept apart, how a bill changes when a channel is added. The groups above follow those moments so you can read only the part that matches your day.
Behind many of these questions sits one idea that is worth saying once: Multi Post Social is a layer on top of the networks, not a replacement for them. The networks decide which formats a tool can publish, which messages a tool can read, how long a token lasts and how metrics are counted. When an answer in the Multi Post Social FAQ says "the network does not allow", that is the reason. Our job is to make those rules visible early, send a reminder when a format needs the network app, and keep your queue safe while you reconnect.
If an answer here does not match what you see in the app, tell us. The FAQ is checked against each release, and the roadmap lists the limits we plan to lift. Questions that are asked often enough become a full guide, like the scheduler guide or the security page, and the FAQ answer then links there.
Where to find each setting
Many Multi Post Social FAQ answers end with a location in the app. This table collects them so you do not have to search. Paths are the same on the web app and in the mobile apps; on a phone, Settings sits behind your avatar in the top bar.

Which guide to read next
When a short answer is not enough, each topic in the Multi Post Social FAQ has a full guide. For publishing, the scheduler guide explains the composer, the queue and the calendar step by step, and the auto post AI guide explains how publishing and the assistant work together. For conversations, the inbox guide covers labels, assignments and saved replies. For numbers, the analytics guide explains each metric and how reports are built. For people and access, the team collaboration guide and the security page cover roles, approvals, two-factor authentication and the audit log.
Two more pages answer questions that are really about getting started: the register page walks through creating an account and connecting the first channels, and the app page explains the mobile apps, the home-screen web app and the browser extension. If your question is about a specific network, the channel pages under channels list formats, limits and account requirements for each one.
Using this FAQ on your phone
Each group in the Multi Post Social FAQ opens and closes one question at a time, so it reads well on a small screen. Use the table of contents at the top to jump to a group, and the search in your browser to find a word. Inside the mobile app, the Help entry under your avatar opens this same Multi Post Social FAQ, and the customer care guide, without leaving the app.
Safe use reminders
A few Multi Post Social FAQ answers touch on security, and they are worth repeating. Connect channels only through the official network login screen that opens from the app. Turn on two-factor authentication. Never share a sign-in link, backup code or API key in a message. Our team never asks for your password or a card number by email. If something looks wrong, read the security guide and write to the security address listed there.
The CISA guide to multi-factor authentication explains in plain words why the second step matters.
